Real Solutions: Summer School in Real Algebraic Geometry

The programme will cover both theoretical and applied perspectives through two minicourses:
- Classical Real Algebraic Geometry, presented by Mario Kummer (TU Dresden).
- Tropical Real Algebraic Geometry and Its Applications, presented by Máté Telek (Budapest University of Technology and Economics).
The programme will also feature guest lectures by Bernd Sturmfels (Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig) and Silviana Amethyst (MPI-CBG Dresden), alongside short talks by participants on related research topics.
The summer school is primarily aimed at graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and other early-career researchers, although anyone interested in the subject is welcome to participate.
